About Daniel
I am a Language Instructor and Spanish PhD student with a concentration on Hispanic Linguistics at Temple University (Philadelphia, USA). My current research interests include language convergence, second language acquisition, and literature and philosophy.
I hold a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from The Pontifical Xavierian University (Colombia), a graduate degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from University of Salamanca (Spain), and a B.A. in Modern Languages from University of Quindío (Colombia).
Before joining Temple, I worked at Bates College (Maine, USA) as a Language Associate; and at ECCI University and Los Libertadores University (Bogotá, Colombia) as a professor. I have published academic articles about linguistics, and short stories in different academic and literary journals. In 2016 I published my first book "TREN AL SUR"
