About Julia
I happened upon yoga after I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I was searching for a practice that would still challenge and motivate me but not give me cause to worry given my new limitations. Yoga was a game changer for me.
Engaging in yoga can be a transformative experience for many, as it encourages self-awareness and mindfulness. Each individual's practice can vary greatly based on their unique body, emotional state, and daily circumstances. This personal approach allows students to explore yoga in a way that resonates with them, helping to alleviate stress, improve flexibility, and enhance overall well-being. Ultimately, the journey through yoga is about finding what works for you, honoring your body's needs, and embracing the process of growth and discovery.

My yoga sessions create a warm, welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the body. Classes are customized to the student’s needs, comfort level, goals, and experience. Through accessible movement, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques, students learn to release tension, reduce stress, and feel more grounded. My approach encourages and empowers each student to progress at their own pace while developing practical tools for enhanced calm and well-being.
I am a 500-hour RYT yoga instructor with over 15 years of experience. I hold various teaching certifications in vinyasa, pranayama breathing, yin, and restorative yoga.
