I am a chemist with a passion for education. I have earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and masters degree in science education with 2 years of solid classroom and one on one experience. I am very flexible, easy going, and understanding when comes to students who have difficulty in math and science subjects.

I base my teaching approach around student understanding. In my experience, gaps in understanding of a topic are what lead to confusion and frustration. I am willing to teach and tutor students ranging from the grade school level up to the college level. When appropriate I incorporate various types of models, figures, and trends to help explain concepts.
