About Airon
I am an experienced secondary school science teacher with over seven years of teaching experience, specialising in biology. I hold an honours degree in biology as well as a postgraduate certificate in science communication, which allows me to explain complex ideas in a clear and engaging way. Alongside teaching, I have worked as a GCSE exam marker for AQA, giving me valuable insight into how students are assessed and how to achieve top marks. I pride myself on being both professional and approachable, creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their understanding.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, with a flexible and supportive approach to learning. I focus on building strong subject knowledge while also developing exam technique, using my experience as a GCSE examiner to help students understand what is required for success. Lessons typically last between 45 minutes and one hour and can be delivered online or in person where suitable. I aim to make sessions engaging, clear, and productive, helping students to build confidence, improve their grades, and develop a genuine understanding of science.
