About Brett
Hi there,
I am a science teacher and I am from South Africa. I have been teaching science for 3 years now and I am completely in love with it! I am full of energy, passion and thoroughly enjoy solving scientific problems and conducting experiments.
I completed my qualifications in South Africa and now I am going through my QTS program. I have Bachelors degree in Science, along with a PGCE and a Diploma in Management. I have taught at a range of different schools gathering invaluable experience with different types of learners. I am currently teaching in the UK and interested in a summer job to assist those students who are worried/panicked about going back in September.
Normally, my lessons are creative and engaging; I will challenge the student and we will have educational discussions about the work. Where possible, we will conduct experiments to emphasise a theory and formulate a comprehensive answer. I believe it is crucial to allow the student to figure out the concept while I am there guiding and assisting where necessary. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am a qualified teacher with experience here in the UK. My main learners are in KS3 and KS4. My passion is creating lessons which are interesting and engaging. I enjoy using visual references as well as kinaesthetic methods of teaching as in my experience, these have been a huge success. I thoroughly believe in discussion and problem-solving methods of learning.
