My Approach as a Tutor:
As a tutor for young learners from kindergarten to elementary school, I focus on creating a fun, friendly, and encouraging learning environment. I use interactive teaching methods that keep kids engaged, such as games, storytelling, colorful visuals, and hands-on activities.
Teaching Methods & Techniques:
I believe in teaching through patience, repetition, and positive reinforcement. I adapt my lessons to each child’s learning style—whether they learn best by seeing, listening, or doing. I use phonics, number games, picture books, and simple worksheets to help children understand basic concepts in reading, writing, and math.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up: Quick activity or review to get the child focused
Main Lesson: Introduce one key topic (letters, numbers, reading, etc.) with visuals or examples
Practice Time: Fun games or exercises to practice what they’ve learned
Wrap-up: Short recap, encouragement, and a simple task for home
