About Adeline

I am a French Tutor since 2016 and a qualified teacher since 2021. I teach adults and children from 4 to 72 years old and more, to any level, from almost bilingual (C1) to complete beginner (A1).
I have been teaching in secondary schools since 2021 to GCSE level, using both exam boards resources (AQA/Edexcel). I have also been teaching in supplementary schools (petite école bilingue) since 2018, and I also work for the Alliance Française in my spare time since December 2023.
I like to spend a bit of time to get to know you and your interests on our first lesson and assess accurately your level so I can tailor the contents of our next lessons to match your needs.
A few of my former students said that they didn't feel they were working hard during our lessons, until they realised how much progress they had made few months later!

About the lesson

I use the 4 skills in every lesson (speaking/listening/writing/reading), based on your interests, ie what you've done/read/watched/listened to last week, what are you going to do next week-end... and building on your grammar skills as we go! I also make my students practice their reading aloud skills and practice the numbers (I can see you trying to skip the document's title with the date and time :D )
