About Miriam

I've been a language teacher for many years. I've studied Philology, I took the teaching training course for secondary school in Spain and a master's degree in literature. I've experience teaching a second language to anyone of any age. I've worked in language centres and as a tutor for more than 10 years.

About the lesson

We all have different aptitudes for learning something new, so I try to use a method (or combination of more than one) that matches a student or a group of students. Nowadays, the communicative approach is considered the most effective way to learn to speak a language. It is the method used by most teachers and manuals but combined with other methods, it could be very effective depending on the student's goals.
