About Justin

I started tutoring in 2012, first in physics-chemistry, then in mathematics and English. I pursued it while in college, and after that as a complement to my salaried activity as administrative and financial manager. Eventually, I decided to dedicate myself fully to tutoring, specializing in mathematics.

Throughout the years, I have developed a methodology that is both rigorous and flexible. It has enabled me to help students in obtaining their Brevet or Baccalaureate and getting a better understanding of relevant mathematical concepts.

I also had the opportunity to tour with the choir Les Petits chanteurs de Saint-Marc. Part of my job was to supervise and help them when they did their homework.

Finally, I supervised language stays in the United States and Barcelona, and I speak English and Spanish fluently.

About the lesson

Several types of organisation are possible; they are detailed below.

My pedagogy is based on two fundamental aspects:
- understanding both the how and the why, by introducing elements of the history of mathematics;
- developing methodology and logical thinking.

Dialogue is of great importance to me as it encourages initiative, particularly in problem solving.

SUPPORT COURSE
These aim to improve results through regular support by enabling a better understanding of concepts and the acquisition of an effective methodology.
Each lesson mixes theoretical explanations and practical applications to ensure the concepts are understood. I usually leave a small exercise to do between classes, to make sure the student can do it alone without any help. When needed, I also provide more exercises for practice.

INTENSIVE COURSE
It is possible to organize a course during the holidays, with lessons every day for a week. The purpose can be a refresher, exam preparation, or a course to discover mathematics with activities and curiosities.

GROUP COURSES AND WORKSHOPS
Depending on the number of requests, I offer decreasing rates and adapted activities.

Perfect! Justin est sympathique, sérieux et ponctuel. Il aide ma nièce en mathématique qui est en terminale PRO. Elle apprécie sa manière de "dessiner" des explications. Elle est ravie de mettre un peu de lumière sur le brouillard qu'est pour elle les maths. Elle trouve aussi Justin rigolo, ce qui l'aide a désacraliser l'apprentissage.
