About Nigel

Nigel Phillips
Technology Leader & Educator

A multifaceted technology professional combining deep technical expertise with a passion for education and accessibility. As a Software Development Instructor at CodeWizardsHQ, I empowered the next generation of developers while maintaining an active presence in quantum computing research and cybersecurity.

My technical foundation spans full-stack development, quantum computing, and cybersecurity. I architect solutions using Python, Java, C++, Q#, and modern web technologies, with particular expertise in:
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Firebase, Oracle) and OAuth implementation
- Machine learning systems and test flight operations
- Penetration testing and security analysis
- UI/UX design and social media strategy

My unique combination of roles sets me apart: developing quantum computing solutions, leading software engineering teams, and creating accessible esports platforms for disabled veterans. This diverse background enables me to bridge technical complexity with practical, human-centered solutions.

As a multilingual professional (English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese), I excel at communicating complex technical concepts across cultural boundaries. Whether mentoring startups, leading development teams, or teaching students, I focus on driving innovation while ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

My work consistently demonstrates the power of combining technical excellence with social impact, particularly in making technology more accessible to underserved communities.
