About Ana
I am a Cornell University architecture graduate with a lifelong background in art and design. Before studying architecture, I attended art school, where I developed a strong foundation in drawing, painting, color, composition, and creative expression.
My experience in both art and architecture allows me to teach creativity alongside technical skills. I work with students at their individual level and encourage them to develop confidence, curiosity, and their own artistic style.
I enjoy working with children and teens, from young beginners discovering art for the first time to high school students developing more advanced skills or preparing portfolios. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where every student feels comfortable experimenting, learning, and creating.

I offer personalized art lessons designed around each student’s age, interests, skill level, and creative goals. Students can explore acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, colored pencil, charcoal, collage, and mixed media while developing strong artistic foundations.
For younger children, I focus on creativity, experimentation, color, shapes, and making art enjoyable. For older students and teens, lessons can include drawing techniques, composition, perspective, color theory, painting, and more advanced projects. I also offer portfolio mentoring for students preparing art or architecture portfolios.
Each lesson combines technical guidance with creative freedom, allowing students to develop confidence, discover their individual artistic style, and create work they are proud of. Lessons are available for beginners through advanced students, and projects can be customized around what each student wants to learn.
