About Sally
I am an experienced, award-winning artist with an undergraduate B.A. in Art History and Painting from the University of Pennsylvania and Master’s work at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. I have taught most recently at my studio, in my garden, in Florida.

About the lesson

For painting or drawing class, I start with an Art History lesson. Sometimes it’s based on technique, subject matter, color, location or mood.
Then I help the student select a reference and materials.
Next I guide the student with basic drawing, watercolor washes, or oil layers.
I have over 30 years experience and have taught grade school, high school and adults.
I stress individuality.
