About Heleen
I am very passionate about anything involving Biology. Living things, little creatures, DNA, anatomy... You name it! Some might call me a nerd.
Teaching students about all facets of life is the main focus, hoping to inspire some future scientists! I studied Environmental Science, Microbiology, Zoology and Aquaculture after graduating High School.
I have ~3 years teaching experience at a variety of levels AND I LOVE IT!
I hope to make lessons fun, exciting and informative.

I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can teach in both languages.
High school biology, environmental sciences, and any associated biological science subject are my favorites!
I enjoy playing games with my students to get them excited and engaged with the subject at hand.
A typical lesson would include revision of the previous lesson, introduction to new materials and some fun ways to try and remember the new lesson. Homework may be given from time to time (don't worry - you'll ace it!)
