About Humza

I’m a dedicated Business and Law teacher with a passion for helping students succeed. Teaching is not just a job for me—it’s a vocation. I believe education has the power to transform lives, and I am committed to guiding students through the challenges of their academic journey. With a PGCE (Distinction), an LLB Law degree, and valuable industry experience, I have a deep understanding of how these subjects apply in the real world.

My industry experience allows me to take complex theories and break them down into simple, relatable examples, making learning more engaging and easier to grasp. I want to teach because I find immense satisfaction in helping students understand these challenging subjects and build confidence in their abilities. Seeing my students grow and achieve results they didn’t think possible is incredibly rewarding.

My aim is to equip students not only with the knowledge they need for exams but also with practical skills that will serve them in their future careers and personal development.

About the lesson

Approach to Tutoring:

I adopt a student-centred approach, focusing on each student's individual learning style and adapting my lessons accordingly. My teaching methodology combines interactive learning with exam-focused strategies. I break down complex concepts into manageable parts, using real-life examples to make lessons engaging and relevant. I also emphasise exam techniques, helping students develop critical thinking and effective time management skills.

Lesson Length:

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, providing enough time to cover key topics, practise exam questions, and address any specific challenges. For more comprehensive sessions or exam preparation, longer lessons can be arranged.

Qualifications and Experience:

I hold a PGCE with Distinction, specialising in Business and Law, along with an LLB Law degree and advanced TEFL certification. With experience teaching at one of the UK’s top 3 sixth forms, I bring a wealth of subject knowledge, top-tier resources, and a proven track record in helping students achieve excellent grades.

My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-Level students studying Business, Law, or related subjects. Whether you're seeking regular support or focused exam preparation, I work with students aged 14-18, helping them build their knowledge and confidence to excel academically.
