About Elizabeth
Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I wish to dedicate myself to help students with the desire to, reach their full potential. I’ve had experience supporting younger students in their studies and understand firsthand how challenging certain subjects can be; I once struggled with math myself before developing the skills and confidence to excel through consistent practice.
Through persistence and effective learning strategies, I then went on to achieve As in Mathematics and even completed a university-level mathematics course in Year 13, (MAT199) earning an A.
Then even later in the year, got to receive my school's Senior DUX award for 2025.
I’m now studying a Bachelor of Science and Music, majoring in Mathematics and Piano performance. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am an artist and multi-instrumentalist, playing three instruments and have actively contributed to the arts community in my area. Sometimes you may see my art featured in local UoA student exhibitions.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment to help students with a passion achieve their goals.

My approach includes assessing current skill level, familiarizing with the student's current method of study. Helping the student with understanding the content and making sure the student has a way of remembering it whether through online or physical, written form. Afterwards, I can assist the student to work on questions and can be available at times after lesson hours if the student needs help through text. Lessons can range from 30-45 minutes and can be made flexible, tailored to the student's needs, however not longer than 1 hour. I am able to help with NCEA and Cambridge Pure and Stats Mathematics up to level 3 and A2 level respectively.
