About Edward
I have been tutoring English online for the last three years to more than 100 different students with individual language needs, helping them gain promotions at work, pass exams and move to English-speaking countries. I also speak French and Spanish, with a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham.

My students are all different and so are my classes. At first I aim to discover the motives of my students' wishes to improve their English, followed by discovering which aspects of English they need to work on most. At the same time, I find out which methods of teaching (conversation, written exercises, videos, texts, etc,) and which subject materials are most appropriate for them. Often I find that my students know what they want and don't want, so I like to give them equal input into the planning and content of the lessons.
