About Sira
I am a former Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering, specializing in nanomaterials and nano-characterization techniques. With expertise in analytical chemistry, I bring extensive experience in using instruments such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) for material analysis. My research background includes photocatalyst synthesis and studying photochemical reactions for CO2 conversion into gaseous and liquid fuels. My primary teaching subjects are Transport Phenomena and Introduction to Nanotechnology. In Transport Phenomena, I cover the transport of mass, heat, and momentum, focusing on the derivation of mathematical models for these processes. In Nanotechnology, I focus on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and their applications in industrial products.
With a broad perspective on Chemical Engineering, I am well-equipped to tutor high school and undergraduate students in chemistry, math, calculus, and chemical engineering-related subjects. I aim to help students understand complex concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.
