About Tirza
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Industrial Chemistry. My work combines traditional chemistry knowledge with computational chemistry techniques. I help students understand how theoretical modelling predicts reaction pathways and molecular behaviour. Quantum chemistry is taught step by step. We study energy levels, orbitals, and molecular properties using clear explanations. Students also learn molecular dynamics simulations. I also include reaction kinetics, spectroscopy, molecular modelling, and solid-state chemistry. Each concept is broken down into small, clear steps. Real-world examples make abstract ideas tangible. DIY biology thinking is encouraged to explore ideas practically. Science fiction imagery helps visualise unseen or abstract systems. Equations are tools, not barriers, helping students understand nature. I encourage pauses and reflection after each lesson. Questions are welcomed and discussed fully. I guide students in building their reasoning and problem-solving skills. Support is steady so confidence grows alongside knowledge. Independent thinking is nurtured. Each student is encouraged to find their personal learning style. My goal is deep understanding, not just quick answers. Students discover clarity and calm in complex chemistry.
