About Cam
Hi! My name is Cam, and I’ve been working with kids for most of my life. I started babysitting when I was young, and that experience is what made me want to go into child care and early learning. I have my Child Care Development certificate, and I’ve completed childhood development clinical work, which helped me understand how children learn at different ages. I’ve been a lead daycare teacher, and I’ve also led reading time and small reading groups every day. I’ve made my own lesson plans, worked with different learning styles, and helped kids build confidence with reading one step at a time. I’m patient, dependable, and I try to make learning simple and stress-free for both the child and the parent. I love helping kids grow, especially when it comes to reading skills, because it’s something they carry with them for the rest of their lives. I take my work seriously, and I want families to feel like they can trust me with their child’s learning. If you’re looking for someone experienced, caring, and committed, I’d be happy to help.

I’ve worked in childcare for years and have hands-on experience helping young kids learn to read at their own pace. I’ve been a lead daycare teacher, and part of my job was creating my own lesson plans and leading reading time every day. Because of that, I know how to break things down in a way that makes sense for each child, not just follow a script.
I’m patient, supportive, and I know how to make reading feel less stressful for kids who are shy or struggling. I’ve seen how much confidence grows when a child finally understands something they’ve been stuck on, and that’s always my goal. I focus on small steps, positive reinforcement, and activities that match the child’s level so they never feel overwhelmed.
If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, calm, and actually understands early childhood learning, I’d love to help. I care about making reading fun, building strong basics, and helping kids feel proud of themselves.
