About Kervin

As a coding tutor, I simplify challenging programming ideas into manageable building blocks. I reinforce comprehension through visual aids, practical examples, and hands-on exercises.
A one-hour lesson plan usually begins with a review of the prior subject, followed by the gradual introduction of new topics based on the student's level of understanding and the assignment of practice problems specifically tailored to the student's needs. I allot time to review the practice questions and address any concerns.
My ability to adjust to each student's unique learning style makes me stand out. I show relationships using flowcharts and diagrams for those who learn best visually. I provide interactive coding challenges for kids who learn best by doing. I work with pupils patiently, regardless of style, until they experience an "aha" moment.
Beginners to advanced programmers in Python, SQL, and Java are the target audience for my lessons. This includes participants in coding boot camps looking to solidify their knowledge and high school and college students hoping to pass programming courses or improve their skills for future jobs. I dissect important computer science subjects into digestible parts, including variables, data structures, algorithms, and more.
