About Craig
Hello! My name is Craig, and I am a passionate Fashion and Textiles tutor with over 16 years of experience supporting students at college and university levels. I love helping students develop their creativity, technical skills, understanding of design, visual communication, pattern cutting and garment construction. Teaching allows me to inspire students to explore their unique style, master essential techniques, and achieve their academic and creative goals. I hold qualifications in Fashion [BA] and Textile Design Innovation [MA]. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in industry and worked with students of all abilities, from beginners looking to build confidence, to advanced learners aiming for top grades and portfolio success. My approach is professional, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building skills, nurturing creativity, clear feedback and helping students feel confident in their work. Whether you are preparing for exams, working on projects, or developing a portfolio, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way, making learning both enjoyable and rewarding.

I have specialisms within digital fashion design, construction and printed textiles for fashion. * Experienced in preparing students for national examinations and vocational (Level 2 / Level 3) assessments. * Strong track record of helping students achieve top grades and improve confidence in the subject.
