I am a college professor with an interdisciplinary MA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Communication and New Media.
I will tutor/assist students middle-school age through adult.
My teaching style can best be described as intersectional, trans-disciplinary and participatory. With course content, I draw from a wide variety of dynamic texts and sources and utilize multiple online platforms and tools. I'm passionate about education, care a lot about my students and consistently provide substantive input re. coursework.
I've been an educator since 2003. I've worked with K-12 students all the way up to adult learners. For the past five years I've been teaching at the college level.
My students take the scholarship they've gleaned from my classroom to pursue both advanced degrees and careers they are passionate about. They become lifelong learners, engaged citizens--and even agents of social change.
Travel beyond 10 miles from my home will be an additional charge.
