About Kayti
My name is Kayti, and I am a seasoned burlesque performer, instructor, and producer with years of experience creating, teaching, and leading within the performance community. As the founder and director of BurLEX, I’ve trained dancers of all levels, produced large-scale shows, mentored new performers, and built a supportive collective rooted in creativity and confidence. My background spans choreography, musicality coaching, expressive movement, and stagecraft, allowing me to teach with both technical skill and an understanding of what makes a performance truly connect with an audience. I’m passionate about helping students grow into their own artistry, whether they’re stepping onstage for the first time or refining their existing craft, and I bring that dedication, experience, and joy into every lesson.

As a tutor, I focus on helping students connect with dance and music through confidence, creativity, and clear technique. My teaching method blends demonstration, guided practice, and expressive movement so students not only learn the steps or rhythms but understand why they work. A typical lesson with me begins with a warm-up, followed by skill-building exercises tailored to the student’s level, and ends with applied movement or musicality practice.
What sets me apart is my body-positive, inclusive approach and my ability to meet each student exactly where they are—beginner, returning learner, or advanced performer. My lessons are ideal for students of all ages who want to build strong foundations, explore expressive movement, or deepen their musical and performance skills in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
