About Martin
I am an Experienced data analyst and engineer with strong analytical skills founded on degrees in engineering (PhD in mechanical engineering), management (PMP-certified project engineer) and finance (passed CFA level I and II).
I am self-taught in the R and Python programming languages and expert in several data analysis tools including MATLAB, MAPLE, Python and R. I have since completed a number of projects (Engineering and finance) for analyzing data using R and Python and confident in teaching it (have more than 120 hours experience of teaching) and answering any questions in this field. I also worked several years as data analyst (project analyst), in which I analyzed data, simulated financial models, created visualization graphs using Excel pivot tables, and Python and R coding.

My teaching methodology is to focus on true understanding of concepts rather than rote memorization. I create an individual learning plan for each student, based on their specific needs, skills and learning styles. I walk the students through several examples to help them completely grasp the fundamentals. Once I help them to build a solid foundation, we can quickly start learning about more complex topics in detail.
