About Shean
I am a dedicated, flexible and hard-working full-time maths teacher working within the Chester area, acquiring my qualifications to teach from the University of Chester.
I have a second degree in advanced physiology from the University of Leeds and sat my A-levels (Maths, Chemistry & Biology) at Eton College.
Outside of work I engage in both sports and fitness regularly and have recently been introduced to the world of motorsports.

Part of being a successful teacher is being able to adapt to the student in front of you.
There is no, one way fits all with learning and that is why most of my initial work will be to find out what specific needs your child has, how they link to their areas of development and how they supplement their areas of strength.
The goal of the tutoring will always underlie each lesson so if it GCSE revision and grade boosting then GCSE questions, topics and methods will be worked on. If it is KS3 top up lessons then familiar topics will be approached in different ways to promote a richer understanding. If it is primary transition work then the foundational understanding will need strengthened whilst also being challenged to the highest level possible.
Lesson lengths, approaches and resources will all be flexible whilst being tailored to your child's learning and ultimate goal.
