About Gaelin

I am a qualified Early Years Educator with 9 years teaching experience. I have mostly taught the Reception Year and have a great passion for teaching early reading and writing skills. I have a passion for working with young learners.

About the lesson

I like to utilise a student-centred approach when teaching young learners. In this approach, both teacher and learner play a role in the learning process. The teacher acts as a guide for the learners and a variety of teaching techniques are used- learning through play; concrete learning, group work and investigative projects. Assessment is ongoing and can be both formal and informal.
