About Tom
I have worked as a teacher for many years but I am also an experienced commercial pilot and this knowledge is directly applicable to several concepts in Earth Science such as meteorology, geologic structures and mapping. I have had success with many students who have struggled with the boredom and structure of a common classroom and may have problems interacting with a teacher or the curriculum as dictated by NYS.

I am a 30 year veteran teacher who has taught several science subject areas to high school and middle school students in the public schools and private schools in the Buffalo NY area. I believe strongly in one on one instruction that is based on the students needs and abilities and works to make them understand and apply the concepts with real world examples and applications.
