I am an experienced, certified educator who provides thoughtful, evidence-based tutoring tailored to each learner’s needs. My instruction is grounded in proven teaching practices, including the Science of Reading, and focuses on building strong understanding, confidence, and independent learning skills. Teaching Method & Techniques
I use clear, evidence-based instruction with an emphasis on understanding, not memorization. My approach is rooted in the Science of Reading and focuses on explicit teaching, guided practice, and gradual release. I adapt strategies to each learner’s needs while creating a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Typical Lesson Plan
Lessons begin with a brief check-in and review, followed by direct instruction and modeling. We practice together before moving into independent work with real-time feedback. Each session ends with reflection and a clear next step.
