About Jessie
I am an experienced Elementary Educator and Mathematics specialist passionate about building confidence in Math. I believe in meeting students where they are, scaffolding their learning, and providing real-world applications for Mathematics. My lessons are engaging and fun with guaranteed laughs and learning!
I provide my own lessons and materials tailored to your student, including whiteboards, manipulatives, worksheets, digital tools, number charts, and literacy connections.
As someone who struggled with Mathematics as a student, I deeply understand the feeling of falling behind, lacking confidence, and straining to understand new concepts. My personal math struggles make me an empathetic and passionate teacher who believes that every child can learn and excel in math.
