My teaching method is a traditional one with intensive class participation. I continuously present to the students real life situations related to the subject we are dealing with and try for students to understand that every single activity we perform in life can somehow be represented my a so called mathematical model.
I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Polytechnic Institute of Warsaw in Poland. I studied there from 1962 through 1969.
I took several courses in the Master of Business Administration program at Florida International University.

During the period from 1986-1996 I held the position of Vice-President of Manufacturing for a Drill and Cutting Tools Manufacturing Company, being responsible for four plants and about 150 employees.
My classes at FIU, traditionally, were between 50-100 students. At Miami Dade College classes are 35 students maximum. Teaching has been my passion since a very young age.
I worked many years as a tutor at Miami Dade College in addition to my regular classes. I taught thousands of students.
