About Hazem
I am a chemical engineering graduate with a lot of practical industry experience. Since I was in high school friends would call on me to tutor and help them understand mathematical and scientific concepts. Many told me that I have a gift in sharing knowledge because I clearly explain and I am very patient and attentive. Later on in my professional life, my company would often place new engineers under my wing so that I may help them catch on quicker and become more independent employees sooner.

I focus first on the subtopics that the student has difficulty with, then once I've ensured they understand them I do a broader review of the subject to make sure that they can connect it all together. I don't like to just answer their specific questions, I like to make sure to test their understanding by covering some more examples on the topic. Depending on the subject, I may not only rely on the textbook, but I might make my own example problems to test understanding.
