About Samuel
I'm Samuel, a full-time engineering student with a passion for making difficult subjects accessible and understandable. Currently, I work as a data analytics intern for a professional soccer team, where I apply the same mathematical and analytical concepts I help students master every day.
I know firsthand how overwhelming math and science courses can feel. I've been in your shoes—staring at a problem set at midnight, wondering if I'd ever understand the material. Those struggles taught me patience and shaped how I approach tutoring today. I don't just want you to memorize formulas; I want you to genuinely understand the concepts so you can tackle any problem confidently.
Beyond academics, I coach youth soccer and have learned that everyone processes information differently. Some students need visual demonstrations, others prefer step-by-step walkthroughs, and some just need someone to explain things in plain English without the textbook jargon. I adapt my teaching style to match how you learn best.
What I bring to every session is reliability, patience, and a genuine desire to see you succeed. Whether you're aiming to improve your grade, prepare for an exam, or finally understand a concept that's been confusing you for weeks, I'm here to help you get there. My goal is simple: by the time we finish working together, you'll feel capable and confident tackling the material on your own.
Let's turn frustration into progress. I look forward to working with you.

As an engineering student with hands-on experience in data analytics for a professional sports organization, I understand how frustrating math and science can feel when concepts don't click. My goal is to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps that actually make sense.
My Teaching Approach:
I don't just show you how to solve problems—I help you understand why the methods work. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations using real-world examples, visual aids, and step-by-step breakdowns until the material clicks. Whether you're struggling with foundational concepts or need help with advanced coursework, I meet you where you are and build from there.
What a Typical Session Looks Like:
We start by identifying exactly where you're stuck, then work through example problems together. I encourage questions and make sure you're comfortable before moving forward. By the end of each session, you'll practice problems independently while I provide guidance, ensuring you can tackle homework and exams confidently on your own.
What Sets Me Apart:
I'm currently living the material I teach—applying calculus, physics, and data analysis daily in my coursework and internship. I remember the exact moments these subjects felt impossible to me, which makes me patient and understanding when students struggle. I also bring a practical perspective, showing how these concepts apply beyond the classroom in fields like engineering and analytics.
Who I Work With:
High school students tackling Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, or Physics
College students in Calculus I/II/III, Differential Equations, or introductory Engineering courses
Anyone preparing for standardized tests (SAT, ACT math sections)
Students who feel "stuck" or believe they're "bad at math"—I specialize in rebuilding confidence
Whether you need ongoing support or help preparing for a big exam, I'm here to make sure you not only pass but actually understand the material. Let's work together to turn frustration into clarity.
