My approach as a tutor is student - centered and interactive. I use real life conversations, simple explanations and repetition to help students understand, and remember new concepts. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment for students to express themselves with confidence without fear of making mistakes.
I adapt my teaching style based on each student's level and learning pace. My international settings of teaching in Dubai, Hong Kong and Japan has helped me in this. For example, for beginners, I focus on building strong foundations in vocabulary, pronunciation and sentence structure. However, for the more advanced students I encourage more discussion based conversations through topic- based learning.
I also use storytelling and interactive activities for younger children.
Overall, my goal is to bring about learning of the English language in an enjoyable way while building their confidence in their skills.
