I love literature, movies, music, business strategy, sports, wine and spirits and bring all of those passions to enhance student experience and success. I listen to students, constantly adjusting lessons and approach to reach each person's goals. Connecting lesson plans to real topics and common cultural themes motivates and rewards both students and teachers: win-win brings the best results in language learning and life.
I have been teaching English to non-native speakers for over 8 years. Prior to that I was a sales and marketing professional for a variety of technology firms in New York City for over two decades. I have taught General, Business, test prep (TOEFL, Cambridge, etc) and customized classes for individual needs. My business background allows me to understand the unique requirements of successful mastery of business language.
Lesson rate may vary depending on student requirements; e.g., test prep (TOEFL) will be 15% higher. Cancellation of lesson within 24 hours of scheduled lesson will result in full charge to student for that lesson.
