About Prakrit
I am a quick-learning, organised and highly motivated computer scientist who loves working in a professional and prestigious environment. Over the past five years, I have developed valuable leadership, communication and IT skills through completing my master’s degree in computer science as well as working as a Digital Marketing Consultant for the past eight years. I have used my skills to educate students on a one-to-one basis through private home tutoring, and I believe that my creativity, problem-solving and interacting skills have helped shape me into a successful tutor.
Over the past six years, I have regularly tutored students for GCSE, A-Levels and degree level courses in various subjects such as computer science, information technology, science, business and maths. I have also provided training in Interface Design, Designing for User Experience, Usability Analysis, as well as multiple programming languages such as Python and C++. Also, while I worked within the marketing department at Fortis Healthcare, which is the largest hospital chain in India, I frequently assisted the younger patients with their homework. After being observed by one of the managers, I was invited to take on a community educational project that Fortis would conduct. I taught English, maths and science to slum children and families that were under care as well as taught them about computer technologies and digital media. Being part of the British educational system, this experience allowed me to compare and contrast the different teaching techniques that can be implemented depending on the resources available.
My teaching approach includes three main rules:
1. Understand
2. Practice
3. Remember
