About Juan
As a teacher with long ESL and PBL experience, I blend the best of two worlds, always aiming to personalize the tutoring to the needs of the student with empathy, consideration, friendliness and understanding.
If the student requires training for an international exam (IELTS, PET, Trinity, etc), we will implement the specific techniques and tips for success.
I also teach Spanish as a Second Language.

Using an approach as communicative as possible, my lessons will be designed considering the student's interests and needs, in a conversational context about various materials and topics.
Also, as a former PBL (Project-Based Learning) teacher, I apply some of its principles (feedback strategies, etc.) when necessary.
My lessons are intended for adults or children who need to learn English or Spanish, or are seeking IELTS (or other exams) training. Also, I can tutor Natural Science for 5th grade.
