About Jules

I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 19+ years of experience teaching high school and college students, specialising in personalised instruction that fosters fluency, confidence, and academic achievement. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals, allowing me to design lessons that are engaging and effective.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking instruction with interactive exercises, real-life examples, and discussions to make learning practical and enjoyable. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to participate and grow.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology emphasises Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving (C³P). Creativity is promoted through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and project-based exercises that encourage students to explore English and express ideas confidently.

Communication is reinforced through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that strengthen fluency, comprehension, and practical speaking skills. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster motivation and confidence.

Problem-solving is integrated via scenario-based exercises, practical tasks, and analytical challenges, enabling students to apply English skills effectively while developing critical thinking. I also teach related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment to provide a holistic academic experience.

This methodology develops learners who are confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of applying English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
