About Christine
An experienced female civil engineer, with over 15 years experience tutoring maths (privately and at tuition centres). I specialise in Year 9/10 Maths, and Year 11/12 Maths Methods, and statistics to University students.
- Attended All Hallows private Brisbane girls school, achieved Very High Distinction in Maths B and C (Maths Methods and Specialist Maths equivalent) and Chemistry
- Studied dual degree in Civil Engineering (with Honours) & Business Management at The University of Queensland
- I really enjoy helping students gain confidence at problem solving. My approach is about breaking down concepts to make it easier to understand, and instilling in students a systematic way of thinking through problems
- I am patient and reliable, and I have helped students from private school captains, mature-age students, to those seeking entry into army/police etc. I have experience tutoring students on the spectrum and with different learning needs, from schools ranging from Lourdes Hill, St Josephs (Terrace), All Hallows, Aviation High, Somerville, Churchie, CHAC, KGSH, Indooroopilly State High. I tutor students remotely from Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, I am familiar with the curriculum in all states. I have helped C students achieve B+, and B- students achieve A+.
