About Callum
I have spent 11extra years in the education system because I truly believe that a better education, no matter in what subject or at what level, can be a transformative and life changing experience. I have been lucky enough to see this experience through to one of the highest levels possible, and I want to share what I have learned in the process with others. This is why I got into teaching, to share my educational experience with students, to help them grasp a deeper understanding of math and physics and to hopefully inspire them to learn more. My approachable and enthusiastic delivery style has helped students ride highs and get through slumps, and I have been rewarded with their returned enthusiasm, kind words and most importantly, high grades.

Hi! My name is Callum, a final year PhD student in particle physics. My work is on the Higgs Boson using the world famous LHC particle collider at CERN!
I have been giving lessons in all areas and levels in both maths and physics for a number of years. No two students are the same, which is why I offer bespoke tuition tailored to each individual. My role as your tutor is to take difficult ideas and turn them into something that your mind can digest. This can be done by neat explanations, analogies to real life, example problems and a good amount of back and forth discussion. My student's have gone on to achieve A's and A*'s in their A-levels and GCSE's and 1st class degree level results!
Come and join me on an educational journey and let me help you make your results day a happy day!

Details
For degree level students I charge a higher rate of up to £55 p/h, depending on level. This is due to the extra time needed in order to prepare for these sorts of lessons, due to the vastness and extra difficulty encountered during a physics or maths degree.
