About Iiris

Moi! My name is Iiris, and I am a professional Finnish language teacher. I have Master's degree in Finnish and other Finno-Ugric languages from University of Turku, and I have taught the Finnish language for over 2.5 years for immigrant adults both at campus and online. I am a motivated, patient, and calm teacher, who has a passion for Finnish language teaching.

About the lesson

In my class we will study Finnish mainly from grammatical perspectives, but we also learn by practicing vocabulary, reading, listening and speaking, and it is also customized lessons to your needs. All materials are provided, or you can suggest if you have preferences! All students with Finnish language skills between (A0-B1) are welcome!

Perfect! Iiris is a fantastic teacher, even after only three lessons. We have been balancing the conversational pieces of Finnish, learning grammatical rules, and studying vocabulary in a predictable and informative fashion. The homework assignments are appropriate for where I am at with learning the language, and both reinforce previous lessons and prepare for the next work we do. Cannot recommend studying Iiris enough!

Details

The total fee for a one-hour lesson is €30 (including VAT). I will send you a one-time payment link for each lesson, and the reservation will be confirmed once the payment is received.

Please note that any requests to reschedule or cancel a lesson should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately, changes requested after this time cannot be accommodated, and the lesson will be considered completed, with the full fee charged.

This policy applies to all lessons, regardless of the reason, to ensure fairness for everyone.
