About Van
I’m Van Perez, a consciousness-based coach, peer support advocate, and graduate student in the M.A. in Consciousness and Human Potential program at Maharishi International University. My work is rooted in the understanding that true growth begins from within — through self-awareness, inner balance, and the cultivation of consciousness. I aim to create supportive spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to reconnect with their authentic selves. Alongside my academic background, I serve as an experienced Peer Support team member at MIU, where I’ve supported students through compassionate listening, emotional support, and consciousness-based approaches to well-being. I am also certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid USA through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, equipping me with the skills to recognize, understand, and respond to mental health challenges with empathy and care. My approach combines consciousness-based education, personal growth, mindfulness, and human connection. I believe healing and transformation happen when people feel safe enough to be themselves and supported enough to grow. Through coaching and peer support, my goal is to help others cultivate resilience, clarity, self-understanding, and a deeper connection to life.
