About Moira
I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher with over 20 years experience teaching Grade 1-3 students. I have worked in both government and private schools so I'm familiar with the contents of most curriculums. I am qualified to tutor Maths, English and Afrikaans.

My teaching methodology is based on each individual child's needs.
In Maths, I always start with concrete objects to discover solutions to problems and then move onto more abstract work.
In English and reading I will assess how much the student knows and work from their. Reading should be a passion and not hard work. I like to develop a love for reading in all my students.
