About LESLIE

I would be delighted to assist students in reaching their learning objectives outside of a traditional classroom setting. Besides my extensive experience as a classroom teacher, I also have significant experience working as a private tutor. However, my availability is limited as I am already working full-time and have other commitments. Therefore, I can only accommodate one or two additional students.

About the lesson

Hello dear student and welcome to my profile! A few words about my teaching style. My lessons typically last around 60 to 120 minutes for optimal engagement and concentration. I employ a communicative approach that focuses on real-life language use, incorporating activities such as role-plays, discussions, and multimedia resources to engage students actively. I also integrate cultural elements to provide a holistic understanding of the language and its context. I hold a Bachelor's degree in French literature and language, along with a teaching certification specifically for teaching French as a foreign language. With 15 years of experience as a tutor, I've taught students from diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels, helping them achieve their language learning goals effectively. My lessons cater to a wide range of learners, including: Students preparing for International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, particularly in French literature, language and literature (French A) and French B. Students pursuing the French baccalaureate curriculum. University students studying French as a major or minor. Adults interested in learning French for personal or professional development. I tailor my lessons according to the specific needs and goals of each student, whether they are beginners or advanced learners, teenagers or adults.
