About Hugo
Hi, I’m Hugo – Experienced French Teacher with 3 Years in Vocational High School in France – Lessons for All Levels in Brisbane I hold a Master’s degree in French Education and a second Master’s in Business, Marketing, and Digital Strategy from a renowned French business school. I bring real teaching experience from France, having taught French in a vocational high school for 3 years. I love teaching French at all levels. What excites me most is working with a student or a small group over time and seeing their progress. I am passionate about my culture and language, and I want to help anyone eager to learn this beautiful, challenging language (Because yes, French is a difficult language!) I have experience teaching in several French high schools, guiding hundreds of students of various levels up to their final exams, which gives me strong teaching legitimacy.

In my lessons, I focus on all aspects of learning French:
Vocabulary building for beginners and advanced learners
Correct pronunciation to help students speak confidently
Sentence structures and grammar to construct clear, correct phrases
Conjugation practice for verbs across tenses
Reading comprehension to improve understanding and fluency
Listening skills through authentic audio and interactive exercises
Interactive and fun role-playing to practice real-life situations
Lessons can be conducted via Zoom, in a public space, or at the student’s home – whichever option suits the student best.
My lessons are fun, interactive, and tailored to each student, focusing on conversation, grammar, and practical language skills. I teach all levels – children, teens, and adults – with lessons typically lasting 60 minutes, in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, and nearby suburbs, or online if preferred.
My goal is to help you learn French confidently and effectively, while making the learning process engaging and enjoyable!
