About Olive

I am an experienced French tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience, including 4 years teaching in schools and several years working with online learners from different backgrounds.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and a DELF–DALF B2 certification, and I specialize in helping students progress from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels with confidence.
My teaching approach is practical, structured, and student-focused, combining grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life communication.

Over the years, I have supported learners preparing for DELF, DALF, TCF, and TEF exams, with many achieving strong results such as A (99%), A (90%), and B (85%). I focus not only on passing exams, but on building lasting speaking and comprehension skills.

In addition to one-on-one lessons, I run an online French learning community on Facebook, where I teach through videos, written exercises, and interactive content. I also offer French–English and English–French translation services.

My lessons are flexible, encouraging, and goal-oriented, tailored to your level, pace, and objectives, whether you are learning French for studies, exams, work, or personal growth.

About the lesson

My teaching approach combines visual, auditory, and verbal learning techniques, ensuring that every student develops strong comprehension, speaking, and pronunciation skills. My goal is to make learning French accessible, enjoyable, and results-driven, helping you gain confidence in all aspects of the language.

I speak French language fluently because of my origin, I was born bilingual I grew up speaking French/English I also attended a bilingual school

I wouldn't choose cause there are many characters that represents the French culture
Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?
the word is Amour - love ,the phrase is Joie de vivre - zest for life and the behaviour I like is the way they live life so simple and loving.
Why does speaking this language matter to you?
It's not just french language that matters to me I love languages ,I love it when I see a person from another country or nation and I am able to communicate with him/her . To me language is the barrier breaker so I am open to learn more languages.
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
The major difficulty of the language is the many rules it has, the grammar and the pronunciation once you can overcome these you are good to go. What can help beginners to learn, it's to have interest, take it easy on themselves while learning and be determined to reach their goals then get the necessary tools for your learning journey.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.
Well the was this one particular confusion I always had with french grammar while in school and how I overcome it was to deduce a short cut for myself so that whenever I see it I won't be confused and will know exactly where and how to use it.
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
I have not really travelled a lot although I love travelling but I know that you can learn a language by meeting new people and discovering new cultures so I advise people to travel if they can it's a great way of learning
What makes you a Superprof in language?
well, I will not really call myself a superprof not because I doubt my abilities to deliver but because I don't think I know it all, once you tell your mind that you know this thing your mind tend to stop Learning and the truth is we learn everyday new words comes out everyday so I am the best but still improving myself daily...
