About Lucy
Although I love French and jump at the chance to practice the language now, that wasn't always the case. I've had my fair of struggles throughout my studies; especially when I took AP French in high school, I found myself getting very frustrated. What really helped me was meeting regularly with my teacher and getting a tutor outside of class, so I know firsthand how helpful it can be! My goal is to make French fun and hopefully instill in you the same passion in the language that I eventually found. I know that every student is different and I look forward to figuring out how to best help you specifically!

I am available for lessons for any and all skill levels! The best way to learn a language is simply to practice, so that's exactly what we'll be doing; we will speaking in French as much as possible (ideally throughout the entire lesson). We will cover topics from everyday casual conversation to more advanced subjects such as political, social, and cultural issues. We will also drill grammar and vocabulary with writing activities. Overall, I would love to cater to your specific needs and we can always design the lessons together! My main goal is to make learning the language fun while we make progress together.
