About Rachel
My teaching methodology for French is built on diplomacy, accountability, and open-mindedness. I believe in creating a respectful and open environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Each lesson is tailored to meet individual needs, focusing on practical language use, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding. I encourage accountability by setting clear goals and regularly reviewing progress, ensuring that students stay motivated and on track. Open-mindedness is key in adapting my approach to each student’s learning style, making the process enjoyable and effective. In addition to French, I can also teach subjects like literature, history, or other relevant topics, using the same personalized, flexible approach to ensure students’ success.

With over 9 years of experience, I specialize in teaching French to college students, helping them gain confidence in speaking, writing, and reading. My approach is personalized and focused on each student's unique learning needs. I believe in creating an engaging, supportive environment that encourages active participation.
I use a variety of innovative teaching methods, such as real-life scenarios, interactive discussions, and multimedia resources, to make learning French fun and practical. I also integrate language immersion techniques, where students practice conversational French in everyday situations, helping them build fluency naturally.
I focus on making lessons clear and structured, with a balance of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural insights. By adapting to each student's learning style, I ensure that they not only excel academically but also develop a genuine love for the language. Whether you’re looking to improve your writing, speaking skills, or overall comprehension, I’m here to guide you through every step of your French learning journey. Let’s make learning French an exciting and rewarding experience!
