About Amishai
I’m a college student at American University in Washington, DC, pursuing a combined bachelor’s and master’s in American government, political theory, and history. I am a professional political organizer and a debate educator. Fishing is my personal passion, and I don’t share it for the money, but rather to give back and keep a long lasting and valuable tradition going in my community.

I love every element of the sport of fishing—from choosing your spot, making sure you’re using the correct equipment, and selecting bait or a lure to the thrill of the catch, fish identification, and even cleaning and cooking for the table. I have a deep appreciation for the community fishing builds. As a longtime debate coach and historic home educator, I also have a strong passion for teaching which I bring to every lesson—I won’t give you a fish, I’ll teach you how to fish, quite literally! I cater to all ages and learning styles. Whether you’re eager to just wait for a bite for an hour or aggressively maximize your chances of catching and build independent fishing skill, I’ll be the guide you’d like to learn from.
