About Ramin

Hello, I am Ramin, an aspiring Biomedical and Healthcare Engineer from City University who is passionate about teaching. Tutoring is something that brings joy to me when I see students gain confidence and learn as much as they possibly can.

I have more than 4 years of tutoring experience with well over 600 hours of teaching various subjects including 11+ entrance exams, GCSE Maths, English and Science. Over the past few years as a tutor, I have worked with many students of all sorts of abilities, helping them to raise their grades and confidence.

I believe that every student can learn and excel through the right teaching methods and approaches.

In my free time, I like to gain new knowledge by solving various problems and learning new skills which will help me in my teaching.

About the lesson

All my lessons are specifically designed according to each individual student, depending on his/her style of learning and what he/she wishes to achieve academically.

Having tutored for more than 4 years, having clocked more than 600 teaching hours, I have had experience working with a wide range of students and helping them attain great success in the subjects I teach.

The lessons are structured, interesting and geared towards helping you grasp tough concepts by providing detailed explanations, worked examples and exam-like questions. I believe mistakes are part and parcel of learning and students should be encouraged to make them because they provide opportunities for improvement.

Progress is regularly monitored and the lessons adapted in order to keep the learners progressing towards reaching their full potential. Lessons can be conducted via the Internet and are usually of duration 60 minutes but other arrangements can be made.

Helping your child gain success whether in passing the 11+ test, improving his/her grades in school or achieving the highest grades in the GCSEs is my primary aim as a tutor.
