About Giulia

I grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and moved to London in 2019. I am a recent graduate in English and Creative Writing.
Despite being a native German speaker, I know the struggle of understanding German grammar and applaud anyone that is interested in learning!
I tutored children for the Swiss Red Cross since 2016 and later started giving private lessons. I have a lot of experience working with children all ages as well as mature students and focus on customising the lesson so you get the most out of it. I also volunteered in Migration Centres teaching German and English as foreign languages. My major during A levels was social sciences, so I have a background in education and language development, and really enjoy working with all kinds of students.

About the lesson

I teach all levels and ages. My teaching method varies from student to student. How we learn best is something very personal and unique, so I always make sure that I tailor my teaching methods to my student. I believe in positive reinforcement and motivation through success. No matter if you're working towards a degree or simply want to learn german for yourself, I'll get you there and beyond.

Perfect! Giulia is by far the best tutor I’ve ever had in my life.
Her kindness and effort in understanding the student makes you feel you’ll get through this difficult phase of learning a new language easy.
I’m very looking forward to learn German with her.
Her bubbly and fun classes are what you need when it comes to a harsh language like German.

Giulia's response
Yoon is a very pleasant student to have. She is astoundingly quick at picking up new information, vocabulary and grammar. She also has a good sense of humour, which is much needed when you learn German.

I am looking forward to more lessons with her and watching her surpass me in every way.
If you get the chance to have her as a student (or as a teacher if you're lucky) don't hesitate!
