About Giulia

I grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and moved to London in 2019. I am a recent graduate in English and Creative Writing.
Despite being a native German speaker, I know the struggle of understanding German grammar and applaud anyone that is interested in learning!
I tutored children for the Swiss Red Cross since 2016 and later started giving private lessons. I have a lot of experience working with children all ages as well as mature students and focus on customising the lesson so you get the most out of it. I also volunteered in Migration Centres teaching German and English as foreign languages. My major during A levels was social sciences, so I have a background in education and language development, and really enjoy working with all kinds of students.

About the lesson

I teach all levels and ages. My teaching method varies from student to student. How we learn best is something very personal and unique, so I always make sure that I tailor my teaching methods to my student. I believe in positive reinforcement and motivation through success. No matter if you're working towards a degree or simply want to learn german for yourself, I'll get you there and beyond.

Yoon is a very pleasant student to have. She is astoundingly quick at picking up new information, vocabulary and grammar. She also has a good sense of humour, which is much needed when you learn German.
